I wish I had this book years ago so I would have been better prepared for when I lost my job in a corporate restructuring. While life is never easy, Brenda Vester gives clear and enthusiastic guidance for taking control of your own career - and it really does start in your own mind. The book also has a section describing the success of four people who have made the shift. I highly recommend this book to any person at any stage of their career.

This is a tremendous resource for anyone who is serious about creating a fulfilling life and career. The book is skillfully organized. The writing is transparent and empowering. Ms. Vester explains the new paradigm which has emerged from the historical job marketplace during the past 15 years. She describes the three mind shifts which will guide the reader to successfully navigate the challenges and opportunities inherent in the new paradigm. She encourages the reader to integrate market research with self-knowledge gained through reflection and accessing one's inner wisdom.
